I am the programme manager of the CamBridgeSens Strategic Research Network in the university, based in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology.

My research interests are sensing in general, connecting research across traditional discipline boundaries. I am working a lot with open source hardware, including the Raspberry Pi and microcontrollers such as the Arduino range. I use these tools to teach master students the fundamentals of sensing.
