Emily is a Lecturer in the Department of Geography and a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow working on ‘Next generation forest dynamics models using remote sensing data’. She is interested in understanding forest function and predicting their future using remote sensing data, from ground sensors, drones, airplanes, and satellites, and in the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence methods to maximise information retrieval from data.
